Philipp Braun, CEO
Philipp joined AUI in 1998 as President and CEO after a successful consulting career in his native Switzerland. After receiving his Bachelor and Master’s degrees at Zurich’s renowned Federal Institute of Technology, ETH, and his MBA at GBSA Zurich, Mr. Braun founded Ensytec in 1990 and served over fifteen of Switzerland’s leading food manufacturers. Before coming to the U.S., he also served as a Captain in the Swiss Army. AUI has quadrupled in size during his tenure.
Augusto Martinez-Orrantia, COO
Augusto is responsible for Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Food Safety/Product Quality. Augusto worked in Finance at Citibank, then spent 12 years at General Motors in Colombia, Mexico and the U.S. At Nunhems USA (a Bayer subsidiary), Augusto was head of Finance and Administration for the Americas. He joins us most recently from General Electric Maternal Infant Care where he was CFO. Augusto is a graduate of Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and has an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
Andreas Galliker, SVP of Product Management
Andreas joined AUI in 1991 as R&D Chef. He then joined the Sales Team as Corporate Account Manager and was promoted to National Sales Manager in 2004. In 2009, he was appointed SVP of Product Management. Andreas trained as a professional pastry chef in Switzerland through a three-year apprenticeship and by working at various confectionary shops, such as the legendary Confiserie Sprüngli in Zürich. He is affiliated with the Resort Food Executive Committee, an organization that represents an elite group of chefs associated with four- and five-star resorts throughout the country. Andreas travels extensively to research the latest culinary trends.
Tina Paolantonio, SVP of Sales & Marketing
Tina joined AUI as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing in early 2016. Tina leads the sales and marketing teams focused on growing revenue and enhancing the experience for AUI’s customers while providing critical involvement and leadership in the creation, alignment and implementation of AUI’s growth strategy. Tina has more than 21 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing management in the specialty foodservice sector. Before joining AUI in February 2016, her prior experience in foodservice was continuous with Virginia-based International Gourmet Foods (IGF) where she was instrumental in building the organization.
