During these ever-changing times, Albert Uster Imports, Inc. (“AUI”) is implementing all the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our community and continuously monitoring changes to the requirements. In compliance with state, local, and federal regulations, we have rolled out an internal AUI Reopening Employee Safety Policy and a Visitor-Facing Guide with measures to address the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

All employees and visitors entering the office space or traveling for business are required to adhere to the following procedures until further notice, which include (but are not limited to):

  • Wear proper face coverings while in the workspace
  • Maintain social distancing
  • Complete a health screening questionnaire daily
  • Sanitize common areas after use and frequent practice of good hygiene habits
  • Encouraging virtual meeting and work from home practices to limit in-person interactions
  • Floor markings to monitor traffic flow
  • Regular professional cleaning services with an increased focus on high touch areas

In addition, AUI has also implemented processes in the event of a positive Covid-19 test in an employee or visitor, which include:

  • Conduct contact-tracing to identify who the individual may have exposed to the virus
  • Closing the workspace for 14 days to conduct a deep clean of the workspace
  • Guidelines on when the individual and other employees can return to the workspace

Especially during this time, we encourage communication between employees, vendors, and clients to best meet the needs of our customers while also working together to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
